What is the difference between soft eyeliner and solid eyeliner?
Soft eyeliner creates a diffused, softly blended effect for natural enhancement, while solid eyeliner creates a clean, defined line that looks more like traditional makeup.
Which option looks more natural?
Soft eyeliner appears more natural because the pigment is softly shaded instead of forming a sharp line.
Which option replaces daily eyeliner?
Solid eyeliner is best for clients who want to replace daily eyeliner application with a makeup-ready look.
Who is soft eyeliner best suited for?
Clients who prefer subtle definition, rarely wear heavy makeup, or want a soft everyday enhancement.
Who is solid eyeliner best suited for?
Clients who normally wear eyeliner daily and prefer a stronger, more defined look.
Can eyeliner style be customized?
Yes, both soft and solid eyeliner styles are customized based on eye shape, skin type, and personal preference.
Can I switch styles later?
Soft eyeliner can often be intensified in future touch-ups, while solid eyeliner can sometimes be softened depending on design and skin response.
Will both styles fade over time?
Yes, both soften gradually over time and typically require touch-ups every 12–24 months to maintain results.

What is lash line enhancement?
Lash line enhancement is a very subtle eyeliner tattoo placed between the lashes to make them appear fuller without looking like you are wearing eyeliner.
Why is it called invisible eyeliner?
Because the pigment sits within the lash line, creating definition without a visible makeup line.
Will people see that I have eyeliner?
No. Most people won’t notice eyeliner — they will just notice your eyes look more defined and lashes appear fuller.
Who is lash line enhancement best for?
Clients who want very natural definition, rarely wear eyeliner, or simply want their eyes to look more awake without makeup.
Can I still wear makeup after?
Yes, you can still wear eyeliner or makeup when desired.
Is this different from soft or solid eyeliner?
Yes. Lash line enhancement is much more subtle and does not create a visible eyeliner line.
There will be swelling typically for the first 24-48 hours. While the swelling starts going down right away and most people are back to normal by the following morning, plan on 48 hours of staying low key to be safe! The color will appear darker the first week, but will gradually lighten and may possibly scab.
The first procedure takes approximately 2 hours, the 4-8 week touch-up is about 1-1.5 hours.
The procedure is done in two appointments. During the first session it is always best to be modest with thickness, line length and color as we can always add more at the second session. The artist will work with you to determine the perfect shape and placement for your specific features
The eyeliner or lash line procedure is more psychologically scary to most clients than anything else. The discomfort is relative as everyone has a different level of sensitivity. A topical lidocaine is applied to the eyelids for numbing prior, and anesthetic is applied during the procedure. Every effort is made to ensure you remain comfortable for the duration of the procedure.
If you have (or had) any of the following contraindicated conditions below, please contact us (sk.ink.art.studio@gmail.com) before scheduling your eyeliner to ensure you are a candidate. Diagnosed conditions that are waived may be required to bring a doctor’s note stating their approval.
In order for your eyeliner to heal properly (and look their best) these Pre & Post Care Instructions found below are of the UTMOST IMPORTANCE! Pre-Care instructions are designed to limit bleeding and skin sensitivities during the service. Excessing bleeding during the procedure will dilute the pigment color and lead to poor results!
Attention Please: We strongly advise prospective new clients to book their appointments at least 1 months in advance of Vacations, Weddings, and Special Occasions. This allows adequate time for healing of both your Initial Appointment as well as a Complimentary Enhancement Session 5-10 weeks after your initial visit. Good result cannot be achieved in just one session, this is a multiple-step process! Some clients may require more than two sessions to achieve their desired density and shape.
EYELINER PRE-CARE
Expect moderate swelling, usually one to three days following the eyeliner procedure. While healing, the eyeliner tattoo will look spotty. This is due to healing skin regeneration. Healed eyeliner will fade up to 50%. Multiple sessions may be required to achieve the desired results.
The above Pre and Post-Care for eyeliner will affect how quickly or slowly you heal. Mature age, poor diet, stress, smoking, excessive alcohol consumption, age, general health, sleep/fatigue. The more fatigued you are, the lower your immune system is, and infection is more likely to occur. Please get plenty of rest and drink lots of water to hydrate prior to procedure.
