Before Your Permanent Makeup Brow Appointment
To help prepare your skin and support a comfortable appointment, please follow these pre-care instructions:
Avoid alcohol for 24 hours before your appointment.
Avoid excessive sun exposure and do not arrive with an active sunburn.
Do not apply Retin-A, retinol, or strong exfoliating products around the brow area for 14 days beforehand.
Schedule chemical peels, Botox, and facial fillers at least two weeks apart from your brow appointment.
Aspirin, ibuprofen, and certain supplements may increase bleeding or bruising. Never stop prescribed medication without first speaking with your healthcare provider. The FDA specifically advises patients not to stop prescribed aspirin without medical guidance.
You are welcome to arrive wearing your usual brow makeup so I can see the shape and style you prefer. Inspiration photos are also welcome.
Please contact me before your appointment if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, managing a medical condition, or taking medication that could affect your treatment or healing.
Following these instructions can help support a smoother appointment and healing process. Please also review the brow aftercare instructions before your visit.
